how your bookings and orders will help charities....
A Williams Photography are currently donating 10% of all Wedding Bookings and any photo sales to Velindre Cancer Centre, and Heart Research UK (at no extra cost to our customers!).In September 2010, Sarah Hunt of Llandrindod Wells, Mid Wales, will be trekking up Mount Kilimanjaro in aid of Velindre Cancer Centre. The following paragraphs go into detail as to why Sarah has chosen to raise money for the charity:
"I think every one of us has a story to tell about someone close to them being affected by cancer. We all know the heart-renching journey patients, friends and families have to take when affected by the disease. I for one have seen my mum take on this journey and thankfully come through the other side.
"When the opportunity arose to take part in the Kilimanjaro Trek for Velindre Cancer Centre I jumped at the chance. Not only does the centre care for patients and families of cancer sufferers in Wales, it manages an extensive programme of research to change the path for patients of the future.
"To take part in the Trek I need to raise £3500. Any donation, whatever the size will be much appreciated and I'm sure you will all agree it is an amazing cause. It will also be the toughest physical challenge I have ever done so I need all the support I can get! I will be holding lots of fundraising events in the coming months as well as running the Cardiff Half Marathon (good training exercise!) so will keep you up to date!
"Thanks again, Sarah"

Along with money going to Velindre Cancer Centre, Heart Research UK will also receive monies through the sponsorship of Anne-Marie Williams' Virgin London Marathon run in April 2010.
With a target of £2,000 Anne - Marie gives her personal reasons as to why she feels she can help others by raising money for Heart Research UK:
"January 2009 brought an event which changed our little family, forever. Without illness, warning or farewells Simon, my partner & brilliant dad to Aidan, died of heart failure – he was only 37 yrs old.
"I wanted to do something, & not having a DeLorian in the garage or Doc Brown's number I couldn't change the past. But in the hope of preventing this happening to someone else's little family here I am committed, (but quietly petrified!) & asking for your support.
"People who know me will also know that my previous exercise regime consisted of, um…. nothing. So to go from 0 to 26.2 miles is no mean feat & worth a few pounds of anyone’s money, so please dig deep! I may not be the fastest or fittest, but I am here & I can, so I will.
"Thank you for visiting my page, for your support & generous donation - In Loving memory of Simon for Heart Research UK"
